Packets for registration were mailed home with details about WEB and orientation for 7th graders as well as schedule pick-ups for 8th and 9th grade. Da Vinci and Emerson 7th graders will follow the same schedule for WEB, registration, and schedule pick up. Please see below for specifics which may have changed as they were updated on August 12, 2011.

Fall 2011-2012 Registration will be held on August 22 at 2121 Calaveras Avenue on the Emerson Campus from 2-3:30pm.  Registration will be in the Indoor Commons (Emerson map link). Look for the signs posted around the campus to guide you to the registration location. There should be plenty of parking for bikes and cars on site.

Forms required by the school district are usually posted online on the DJUSD website (click the Forms link on the left hand side of the homepage).

2011-2012 Registration Forms:
Registration packets were mailed home August 8. Please call 757-7154 if you have not received your packet by 8/16/2011.  Please note that the Technology Contract Addendum form was NOT included in the mailed packets.  It must be downloaded and printed, filled in, and brought to registration.

NOTE:
There is a new state law which requires that all students in grades 7 – 12 show proof of immunization with the Tdap vaccination prior to starting school in the fall.  The Health Services staff is already busy at work to help prepare to meet this mandate in August.  It will require that  every secondary student be cleared by the nurse before they get their  schedule during registration.

When the students arrive we will collect all the required forms and any optional ones they have brought and give them more material to bring home.

8/22 — Registration/Schedule pick-up/orientation

For 7th grade student WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) orientation in Gym  (for students only)

12:00-1:00pm
For 7th Grade Da Vinci registration in IDC with 7th Grade Emerson registration. Parents meet their child with registration paperwork and go through the line together. Schedules are distributed at end of line.

1:00-2:00pm
“Parent Walk” orientation in C10 to learn about on-line support system (additional sessions will be offered to all Da Vinci families on 8/29 in C10 @ DVJHS and 9/6 at 5:30pm at DVHS                               

2:00-3:30pm
8th/9th registration in IDC with Emerson new students.          

On this day,  Da Vinci students will get their schedule, their planner, they can purchase PE clothes, and should have their TDAP clearance. All students and parents are encouraged to come out to the Da Vinci portables after registration information is received to meet teachers and view classrooms.
